The goal of this and all programs under The Commons is to use these new tools to communicate efficiently and together to build for the future.

The kinds and range of contact possibilities is rapidly expanding and improving, and one of our principal objectives is to make a contribution toward sharing not only this information, but also to spur the use of these group work tools with the growing numbers of people and groups around the world who share our concerns. That we all get together to do this freely and in a neighborly manner is just part of this whole broader process. All progress toward sustainability is going to be something that we will achieve rather like this -- by working together, simply, efficiently and without a whole lot of personal afterthoughts.
